Running Clinic
RunRight was founded in 2017 to benefit runners and sports people of all abilities, young, old, fast or slow. The only specialist running clinic in the region, a collaboration between Skipton physiotherapist Mark Wilkinson and personal trainer Katy Taylor. With over 20 years of experience Mark and Katy have seen many runners in their running clinic. Their aim of the running clinic in Skipton is to help novices and experienced runners alike to develop their run style. This will ensure they build their muscles correctly and protect their bones and ligaments in the process.

Who we are
Mark Wilkinson
Mark is a co-founder and the Technical Director of RunRight based at running clinic Skipton. He is a fully qualified member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists with many years’ experience.
Katy Taylor
Katy is a qualified and established personal trainer and Training Director of RunRight based at running clinic Skipton. She is a fully qualified member of the National Register of Personal Trainers.

Stage 1
Running Reassesment
- One to one at running clinic Skipton
- Physiotherapy check
- Strength testing
- Running analysis
- Personalised running videos
- Bespoke exercise plan provided
- Identify if ultrasound scan is required (onsite at running clinic Skipton within 48hrs)
stage 2
Strength and Conditioning
- Health Check – including blood pressure, heart rate and oxygen saturation levels
- Goal setting
- Identify existing abilities
- Commence bespoke strength and conditioning program
Stage 3
Run Retrain
- Physically and mentally change the primary aspects of the existing run using newly achieved muscle strengths
- Provision of comparison running video
Stage 4
Advanced strength and conditioning
- Advanced Conditioning and enhanced strengthening
- Introduction of power training
- Current performance measures tested

There is a passageway between Skipton library and Harry Garlick’s electrical shop. We are situated 10m down this passageway on the right.
Parking
There is 1hr free parking on Skipton High Street in front of the shops all day on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Sundays, and after 6:45pm on all days.
There are two car parks nearby, these are ‘High Street Car Park’ BD23 1ED 100m from the clinic and ‘Coach Street Car Park’ BD23 1LE 200m from the clinic

Morning team, Just done 13.4 miles bogtrot, got a PB on hill climb came 14 out of 226. So aiming for top 10 next time! Felt solid all the way through. Big hurdle today for me cheers guys for getting me back on it and making it all positive.
